Kinder Morgan Galena Park Terminal
Cima Services selected Batten Drilling to complete Kinder Morgan Galena Park terminal bus support and bridge foundations.  Job was completed in 2 weeks; ahead of schedule and no change orders issued.  Over 500 yards of grout were placed.

George R. Brown Convention Parking Garage
A 1,900 car parking garage located on the north side of the GRB.  A constrained site, existing metro rail and downtown location were just a few obstacles encountered.  Working alongside Vaughn Construction and Cemex Concrete over 5,000 yards of grout were placed.  2 augercast drill machines and crews were mobilized to complete piles with a very demanding schedule.

Kyle Field Redevelopment Project

Fed-Ex Package Distribution Center
This addition to the distribution center was completed while accommodating the needs of an operational facility on a 101-acre site; construction was scheduled without distributing ongoing operations.  A crawler crane with drill attachment and Soilmec completed all temporary cased shafts ahead of schedule

TAMU Engineering Education Complex
The completely renovated and expanded Zachry Engineering Center will become the the largest academic building on A&M’s campus.  Due to a constrained site and existing structures, the first phase of drilling required a specialized low clearance drilling machine.  The specialized drill machine and crew completed 5 foot diameter belled piers by 12 foot deep with only 13’ of head clearance inside a basement.  The second phase required crawler crane with drill attachment to complete holes up to 9 foot diameter by 35 foot deep.  Both phases were completed ahead of schedule.

Cell Towers

To date we have completed over 4,000 cellular communication tower foundations throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. These pier foundations range from 3’ to 10’ diameter penetrating up to 80’ deep. With diverse soil conditions throughout our service area we have proven our capabilities for processing shafts with caving soils via the slurry displacement method. We have also shown our capabilities of drilling in some of the hardest rock throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
