Kinder Morgan Galena Park Terminal

Cima Services selected Batten Drilling to complete Kinder Morgan Galena Park terminal bus support and
bridge foundations.  Job was completed in 2 weeks; ahead of schedule and no change orders issued.

Kyle Field Redevelopment Project

A $485 million redevelopment project that spanned over 2 years, involving over 1,500 drilled shafts that required temporary casing, low clearance areas, and an expedited schedule that included up to six drilling rigs onsite working seven days per week.

IAH Terminal B

The foundations plan to be drilled for IAH's Terminal B by Spring 2025. Over 664 different piers have been drilled and slurried, having five drill rigs on site knocking the work out.

M.D. Anderson Cancer Center

This project was for the M.D. Anderseon Cancer Center. Working 6 days a week drilling down to depths of 110' for 381 piers, this project was completed by December 2024.

TAMU Engineering Education Complex

The specialized drill machine and crew completed 5-foot diameter belled piers by 12-foot deep with only 13’ of head clearance inside a basement. The second phase required a crawler crane with drill attachment to complete holes up to 9-foot diameter by 35-foot deep. Both phases were completed ahead of schedule.

Keppel AmFels – Parker Drilling Foundation

Designed for Parker Drilling land rig. Forty-eight 30" by 55' deep foundations completed, being formed 2' out of ground. Batten Drilling provided all shafts turnkey, supplying tied rebar, concrete, and form/finish.

George R. Brown Convention Parking Garage

A 1,900 car parking garage located on the north side of the GRB. A constrained site, existing metro rail and downtown location were just a few obstacles encountered. Working alongside Vaughn Construction and Cemex Concrete, over 5,000 yards of grout were placed. Two auger cast drill machines and crews were mobilized to complete piles with a very demanding schedule.

FedEx Package Distribution Center

This addition to the distribution center was completed while accommodating the needs of an operational facility on a 101-acre site; construction was scheduled without disrupting ongoing operations. A crawler crane with drill attachment and Soilmec completed all temporary cased shafts ahead of schedule.

Six Flags Over Texas – SkyScreamer

A drilled pier foundation designed for the world’s tallest swing carousel ride that required seven 54-inch diameter by 70' temporary cased rock holes.
